Brief

Newcastle United are back in the top flight of English Football after their recent promotion. The Club needs an updated modern style crest and strong identity to show this and help them progress as a brand.

The new style needs the famous old club to look as though they’re here to stay rather than a side that belongs in the lower leagues.

Solution

The new crest i designed focuses on the unique black and white stripes of Newcastle and removes the confusion of unneeded elements, whilst maintaining the symbol of the city. The stripes are now also the focal point of the brand in all platforms and can be used to promote the club.
